Long Beach - Practice Tonight and the discussion about the race...

So rounds 3 and 4 are nearly on us and it’s a biggy... LONG BEACH! The unofficial American version of Monaco

Tonight there will be a practice session if you would like to take part, lobby open from 7.30pm GMT with the lobby open but requiring a password to jump in (cuts down on invites having to be sent) 

Now about the race and a few FAQs which I would like to address:

Track limits are what the game deems them as e.g. using the pit lane as the racing line is allowed

You can use the pit exit as the racing line for turn 1 but if a car is exiting out from the pits the car in the pits has right of way so please use the track wisely and cautiously

When coming out of the pits you must give right of way to cars going in to turn 1  example: racing side by side into turn 1 with someone on track and you hit at turn 1, pit exiter will be held responsible for an accident

2. I keep getting pit enterance and exit penalties, can we turn pit exit limits off?

Pit line limits are in place. The exit of the pits are right around the edge of turn 1. Please also take care when entering and exiting pits, watch your speed and make people around you aware that you are pitting, please try and stick to the inside of the last corner and not cut across the track to jump into the pits  

Also a final reminder from me, due to the tight and twisty nature of the track we are expecting accidents to happen, please don’t rage out in the chat and make sure you have a working mic and able to communicate with everyone!
